“Marble is like man, before getting started, you must be well acquainted and aware of everything he harbours. So, if you conceal air bubbles, I’m wasting my time. “
Michelangelo Buonarroti .
The use of marble can be traced back to antiquity: the first objects dating from the Neolithic era originate from ancient Greece. Known for its characteristic sturdiness, durability and resistance to abrasion, in recent years it has returned to decorate classic and contemporary environments with its precious fascination and with a great aesthetic appeal.

B—Line combines this noble material with the AD.DA series of low tables designed by Tommaso Caldera, made entirely in metal or with a choice between wood or White Carrara, Guatemala Green and Lepanto Red marble for the tops.
These three types of marble were selected because of their intrinsic characteristics.

World famous White Carrara Marble has been used to create great works of art, buildings and public constructions by artists such as Michelangelo, Bernini, Canova and Donatello. Extracted from the quarries in the Apuan Alps, it is one of the most precious and best-known marbles. The massive mining activity in these quarries dates back to Roman times. White Carrara Marble, known for its ability to reflect light from which it draws its intrinsic brilliance, creates splendidly luminous environments.

Guatemala green evokes the fascinating Central American country. It gets extracted from an emerald green rock marked by dense streaks of darker shades. Its colour is intense and magnetic and the white streaks traversing it provide the material with a particular brightness.

Lepanto Red, used ever since ancient times for ornamental purposes and for its chromatic characteristics, is able to elegantly enhance the warmth of the home with its natural contrast of intense red colours mixed with some shades of green and delicate streaks of bright white.

Combined with the metal base in White, Graphite and Jasper Red of the low tables, the three marble options available for the tops of the AD.DA collection, create arrangements with a high materic and figurative content.
