B—Line is a company specialised in designer furnishings which, ever since its beginnings, has manufactured contemporary products along with evergreen icons from the past, such as Joe Colombo’s famous Boby storage trolley. Solid, transversal and flexible designs, the result of collaborations with international designers and of an exclusively Italian production.
B—Line is a company, brainchild of its founder, Giorgio Bordin, that restores life to several historical icons of design on the Italian scenario. These are works that have disappeared over the years, made obsolete by the unrelenting ferment of a market that is brimming with innovation. Of the products re-edited, some have made history “contaminating” many facets of art and design, such as Joe Colombo’s famous Boby.
From the very beginning, side by side with its re-editions, B—Line places contemporary furnishing accessories, resulting from collaborations with international designers. Tangible, factual and transversal projects that have the responsibility and honour to co-exist with the great cornerstones of design and to encourage, in terms of style and character, a smooth switch from home environments to working spaces and from outdoors to indoors, areas that are increasingly hybrid and mercurial, as demanded by contemporary lifestyles.
B—Line: furnishings for open-air dreaming
7 July 2020
Summer always brims with new energies, vibrant drives and nature’s strong beckoning. To enjoy fully our little-great oases in the open, full of light, air, scents and colours, B—Line’s proposal for the outdoors creates an atmosphere well suited for domestic and contract settings dedicated to the food and hotel sectors.

To integrate perfectly with this open-air scenario is Fonda, Maddalena Casadei’s table, with its smooth and essential geometries, its top with square or rounded corners, in MDF or laminated wood. Combining easily with two different types of chairs, it is available in two heights and with a concrete base coloured in the mass.

For the summer season, Merano can also “fit the bill”: this is the small armchair designed by Ilkka Suppanen and Raffaella Mangiarotti, which guarantees style and comfort even out of doors. With a simple move, the lounge chair can be transformed into a pouf or an occasional seat. Part of the Merano series and with the same galvanised and painted steel rod frame as the chair, is also the two-seat sofa which can, if needed, be turned into a comfortable and functional bench, a further confirmation of the collection’s excellent versatility and comfort.

Also perfectly suited to outdoor spaces is Park, a chair designed by the German duo Neuland Paster & Geldmacher, available in stool version as well. Completely made in galvanised and scratch-proof painted steel rod, outstanding for lightness, rigorous style and stability. Equipped with footrest and stackable, it is ideal for easy stationing and for being moved around in contract environments, reception areas, terraces, verandas and green spaces.

These are only some proposals of B—Line’s outdoor collection and, thanks to their versatility, they are all equally suitable for indoor use.
