B—Line is a company specialised in designer furnishings which, ever since its beginnings, has manufactured contemporary products along with evergreen icons from the past, such as Joe Colombo’s famous Boby storage trolley. Solid, transversal and flexible designs, the result of collaborations with international designers and of an exclusively Italian production.
B—Line is a company, brainchild of its founder, Giorgio Bordin, that restores life to several historical icons of design on the Italian scenario. These are works that have disappeared over the years, made obsolete by the unrelenting ferment of a market that is brimming with innovation. Of the products re-edited, some have made history “contaminating” many facets of art and design, such as Joe Colombo’s famous Boby.
From the very beginning, side by side with its re-editions, B—Line places contemporary furnishing accessories, resulting from collaborations with international designers. Tangible, factual and transversal projects that have the responsibility and honour to co-exist with the great cornerstones of design and to encourage, in terms of style and character, a smooth switch from home environments to working spaces and from outdoors to indoors, areas that are increasingly hybrid and mercurial, as demanded by contemporary lifestyles.

History

B—Line is a company, brainchild of its founder, Giorgio Bordin, that restores life to several historical icons of design on the Italian scenario. These are works that have disappeared over the years, made obsolete by the unrelenting ferment of a market that is brimming with innovation. Of the products re-edited, some have made history “contaminating” many facets of art and design, shaping their style and interpreting the mood of the fabulous Sixties and Seventies, to such an extent that the young entrepreneur Bordin could not possibly have allowed them to be forgotten.

B—Line’s path started therefore in 1999 with the recovery of the original moulds, re-proposing, and at times also revisiting in contemporary style, famous pieces like Joe Colombo’s much acclaimed Boby storage trolley, one that still nowadays is to be found exuding its everlasting appeal within the most varied spaces of our lives and times.

Zero-mile Sustainability

Inspired by a strong cultural drive, B—Line’s DNA includes particular attention to sustainability, linked first and foremost to the durability of its products.

The great expertise placed in support of the productive service and a sustained maintenance of the equipment needed for the production, allow original moulds from the Seventies to still be used in reproducing historic products.

All B—Line products are entirely “Made in Italy” and tend to be “Zero-Mile”. In fact, the company favours neighbouring concerns that are the source of incredible skills that constitute a heritage of the highest craftsmanship and excellence to be safeguarded.

Environmental protection is at the root of the whole productive process. Transport and recycling involve huge squandering of energy and consumptions, which B—Line seeks to avoid.

Service

As a guarantee of quality, B—Line’s finished and semi-finished products are regularly subjected to precise control procedures.
Materials used are 100% “Made in Italy”. Each article gets checked and the seats are Catas-certified.
B—Line collaborates with international designers aiming at integrating other cultures and viewpoints and satisfying client requests according to their differing sensitivities.

At the core of B—Line’s business there is always the client and the desire to share perceptions and expressions linked to private, working, public, indoor and outdoor spaces.
Since B—Line itself is the primary B—Line client, the goal is always to seek the highest standards of service, communications and support, as well as to scrupulously attend to each individual request, since B—Line is a company made up of persons networking with persons.
